Michael Frances Tolcher was born on October 11th in Lovejoy, Georgia. Michael has two brothers-Mark and Matt, and three sister-Maria,Mary, and Caitlin, and one lovely dog named Rainbo.

Michael's dream as a child was to become an Olympic Athlete, but do to a serious accident his dream had to be put asside. Michael decided to turn to his other hobby of MUSIC. As a child Michael would sing in his local church choir. Michael also performed at the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary, where his father worked as a chaplain, with just his voice and his guitar. 

In 2003, Michael started to produce his first album, I AM. With the help of producers, PopRox, and a few friends, one of them being Pop Star Gavin Degraw.

Michael has traveled all over the United States touring and promoting his debut cd, I AM. Michael's touring buddies include Maroon 5, Hanson, and of course his buddy Gavin DeGraw.
